The objective for this project was to create two stylishly contemporary duplex townhouses that would present a strong street-front presence while
conforming to the heritage overlay of the street.
Our client’s brief also called for investment properties that would capitalise on their prime location, rent out easily and substantially appreciate in value for years to come.
This was the first development undertaken by our client who were living overseas at the time. Our integrated Design+Build service proved to be the perfect solution – with Mancini Made managing the entire process from initial concepts, design, planning, council liaison, budget control and build.
The design incorporated open gable rooflines to mirror the surrounding 1950’s period homes, together with smooth pure-white render contrasting with sections of vertical weatherboard. The open timber post-and-beam design of the carports conformed to planning constraints and introduced a structural aesthetic to define the space.
